Space and location are big draw cards for this large holiday home in the beachside village of Callala Bay.

The single storey home is level entry from the street and offers a huge amount of indoor and outdoor space to host an extended family holiday. There is a garage with a generous driveway in front so there’s plenty of parking, and alongside it is the boat trailer access to the side of the house. This provides more parking space in front, and gates ensure security so you can sleep easy.

Inside the tiled floors guarantee a fuss-free post beach lifestyle. There is a formal lounge that is carpeted, with a comfortable sofa, 2 armchairs and a TV, and at the back is the family living area with 2 more sofas and another television. Both have sliding doors out to the wrap-around garden. Outside the formal lounge is a paved area with an outdoor dining suite that seats 6.

Back indoors, the family room is open to the kitchen and dining. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a dishwasher and microwave, with windows that look out to the garden. The dining room, tucked in off the kitchen, houses a 6-seater dining suite.

There are 4 bedrooms. Two have Queen beds, the main with doors out to the garden so it’s light and bright. The third bedroom has a double bed and the fourth 2 singles. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub, both with showers, vanities and toilets. There is also a washing machine for your convenience.

There is another area that contains a single bed for additional guests. All linen is included. With WiFi, air-conditioning, and the possibility of pets allowed (with owner approval), this is a great house, ticking lots of boxes.

Jervis Bay as a whole is popular with tourists for obvious reasons: it’s brimming with natural beauty. Fine white sand, vast beaches and waterways, and an abundance of birdlife are major drawcards. This particular area has the advantage of access to much of the local highlights, but is less frenetic than the more touristy Culburra and Huskisson, and boasts stunning local beaches and boating opportunities.

Only 20 minutes from Nowra and 10 minutes from Culburra, this location is very appealing. Callala Bay is the longest beach in Jervis Bay and offers calm waters for swimming and snorkelling and is a great spot for fishing and boating. Make sure to keep an eye out for dolphins!

If you enjoy nature walks, this is the place, with numerous routes along the coast and through local nature reserves. There is also a golf course nearby at Callala.

Local shops are within a few hundred metres, offering a few eateries and takeaways, an IGA, butcher and chemist. There is also a skate park directly opposite the shops for the young (or young at heart) to enjoy.

Within a short driving distance are the slightly larger townships of Culburra, Nowra and Huskisson, all well worth exploring and offering a variety of amenities and eateries.
